Lauren and Colin's wedding took place on a waterfront property in Baltimore, a property that she and her brother grew up running around and exploring. So many pieces of her family were thoughtfully woven into the details of their wedding. Lauren's mother made her veil, designed and quilted their huppah, and crafted aisle entrance doors. These doors through which she and her mother walked were like a passage to this new journey on which she and Colin were embarking. Lauren's bouquet was carefully wrapped with a piece of her grandmother's dress. Frank, her daddio, performed the ceremony. Her wedding was a blended gift of fine sentimental detail. Lauren wanted her wedding to feel like a giant hug. A warm embrace it was, one that you walked away from feeling so connected to her, Colin, her family and friends. Capturing her details, these pieces their children will be able to look back on, the stories that will be told as they look through these photos, that is why I do what I do. It is for these memories to be passed on to the next generation.
