Carrie + Ari : Patapsco Valley State Park, Ellicott City, MD

Carrie and Ari's wedding was the perfect blend of rusticity and class. Sweeping white fabric and draping globe lights transformed shelter #300 at Patapsco Valley State Park in Ellicott City, MD. The ceremony began with a decoration of the arch by family and friends where Carrie and Ari would stand to declare their vows. Carrie and her parents arrived in a '69 Citroen as the procession started. The rain held off until after dinner. When it started raining before their first dance, Carrie and Ari decided to embrace it. They walked onto the stone patio and performed their first dance to "Singin' in the Rain." Couples took their cue and joined in. Parent dances followed and then the skies opened up. Dancing continued and the evening was delightful.
